Christopher Oill
Chris is a concert pianist, composer, and teacher, leading performance and pedagogy into the future, perfecting “what is” and experimenting with “what could be.” Through Piano Universe, he teaches creative musicians around the world. In addition to teaching, he has also assisted in production work for the Faber Piano Adventures and published pedagogical piano music through the FJH Music Company, inc. He is particularly interested in anime and video game music, he is trained classically, and he can make any genre sound great on piano. Chris holds an MM in Piano Performance Pedagogy from Arizona State University, and a BM in Piano Performance and Music Education from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam.
Taylor Morgan
Taylor is a musician at his core; his goal in being a musician is to connect the audience to the feelings inherent in the music that he plays. Formerly, Taylor accompanied the Maricopa High School choir on piano and served as a pianist to his church congregation for two years. He currently studies music at Mesa Community College and is pursuing an associate degree in fine arts, with an emphasis in music. Taylor was formerly a student of pianist Johnny Rice and is currently a student of the visionary Dr. Stephen Cook, and both have helped to shape his artistic expression and technique. Taylor is also studying composition under conductor-composer Vanja Nikolovski and studying piano pedagogy under the instruction of Professor Radmilla Stojanovic-Kiriluk. He is excited to have the opportunity to teach in association with the creative Christopher Oill.
